No problem there, K- train. It doesn't destroy your common sense.

This is a concern I have about OF because as much as I'd love to experience a feeling of unhibition, I don't want to be in spring break mode 24/7 if ya know what I mean Tongue.

Im doing overcome fear as well and you can think before you act. Its kinda like a switch, you can just let go if you want and have an awesome time, or you can tone it back and just relax. In fact I believe that my able to think and reason has improved.

RE: The Modern Libertine's diary - Cortez - 11-23-2012

I agree, Alec. It's a lot easier to think without all that fear taking up your brains processing power.

Good stuff Alec and Cortez. Thanks for the fast responses! So OFSG is officially on my subliminal to-do list as of now.

I think I have been listening for over a month now. I have a good feel for this sub on it's own. I'm going to do add Happiness and Joy in with it. I've been wanting to have another go at that sub and I think it would go well with it.

There's parts in the Overcoming Fear script that are about replacing fear with love and gratitude. That's finally been kicking in for me recently. It feels really good.

RE: The Modern Libertine's diary - Cortez - 11-26-2012

Moving away from society is the best move I ever made. I'm so grateful for everything I have. My life gets better all the time now.

That's the attitude Smile

edit: edited for my unecessary use of the f word! :O

Hey K-train
my 2 sense on the decision making power is that it is increased greatly...where I used to act
of impulsiveness and fear of loss..I don't anymore. My actions are much more decisive and assertive.
I'm actually thinking and worrying alot less and really contemplated with a positive focus. The gratitude and love has been really slow to kick in but I find it coming out more and more.

RE: The Modern Libertine's diary - K-Train - 11-28-2012

Interesting Rainbow...when it comes to fear and decision making I thought that without fear to act as a stop sign a person would become much more supsceptible to impulsiviness (thinking before one speaks, acting out of rage/anger, etc) however it seems quite the contrary. What about "inner peace"? Those moments where you are completely oblibious to negativity. Have you had more of those moments or is it just a consistent feeling calm?

RE: The Modern Libertine's diary - Sean - 11-28-2012

It seems to me that, contrary to intuitive conclusions, impulsiveness seems to result from fear, rather than being inhibited by it.

RE: The Modern Libertine's diary - Cortez - 12-06-2012

This sub just keeps on getting stronger the more I listen to it. When I am out lately I have been saying ridiculous off the wall stuff to groups of girls (Approaching groups is my favorite). I opened up a group the other night by saying "Would you guys ever F*** a rodeo clown?" Just seemed funny at the time, but this one hot blonde gave me a really detailed answer, lmao and I started talking to them from there. It's pretty clear to me that I have no problem saying anything to anyone I meet. I'm not completely without social anxiety, but I do feel like I'm light years ahead of most people and that's a great feeling to be that uninhibited.

RE: The Modern Libertine's diary - Alec - 12-06-2012

Thats my favorite part of OF actually. It's awesome to be as stupid and ridiculous as you wantBig Grin

I'm an expert at being stupid and ridiculous, lmao. Here's a line I came up with for girls on their cell phones at the bar the other night. Go up and tell them the beginning of a cheesy line "Was your dad a thief?" "Do you have an icepick?" "How much does a polar bear weigh?" or basically the beginning of any stupid, cheesy pick up line and then when they answer with a "I see where this is going" look in their eye's I say "Get of your f***ing cell phone!" I thought it was hilarious. Guys all got it, not one girl did, though, lol, I beginning to think girls may be a little vacuous here...okay I already knew that, but I was hoping otherwise, haha,

RE: The Modern Libertine's diary - Spiral - 12-06-2012

Lol. Nice progress Cortez. I can't wait to get onto OF. However I'm considering adding on another 2 months of ASC 5G
