10 days then nothing...Resistance? - Alta - 12-06-2013

I've noticed a pattern with me and subs. For the first 10 days or so I see definite results, even after the first day, but then nothing much. I tend to see no further improvements and I usually regress back to my pre-sub self pretty quickly.

I've noticed this with BIATBW (21 days), OGSF (45 days) and now with ASC (35 days in so far).

People have talked about resistance to the subs, resistance normally being fear. I've tried to tap any resistance away with EFT, and OGSF
didn't seem to help get rid of any fear (if it is fear), but then maybe I resisted this sub as well.

I'm most disappointed with ASC, since I was really looking forward to some great results as experienced by others, but my results have been mediocre at best. Considering this is 5G I really would have thought I'd see some good results by now. If anything it seems to have knocked me off balance and made me less confident than normal.Huh

Is there a way to overcome this resistance to subs? For reference I listen to ultrasonics overnight, and I try to get at least an hour in the evening via headphones.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

I've had the same thing. You need to get the deeper subs (AM, SM) and combine that with the tapping, NG, etc.

I can totally relate to this problem it happened to me during AM5 and asc i still don't understand why it's like that for me but it's very frustrating.

Hmm I've never run a sub with OGSF in it so it'll be interesting to see what results I get from AM6. It'll be in 5G as well.

RE: 10 days then nothing...Resistance? - Shannon - 12-08-2013

I can assure you that AM6 is going to be very... transformative.

Alta, your pattern is almost certainly fear based. You make progress, and then that progress triggers a subconscious "threat alarm" which is set to preserve homeostasis on the idea that "what is, is safe".

You'll need to run OGSF or AM6 for dealing with that. I recommend at least 6 months for whichever.

Thanks for all the replies, It's re-assuring knowing I'm not the only one who experiences this and that there is a solution.

Shannon, I was thinking about buying Life Tune Up v3.0 next - since it has OGSF in it, will that also work?

Shannon I was wondering if it's possible to resist OGSF. what happens if your fear resists the programme from removing and destroying the fear that is creating the resistance? are you basically fucked when that happens?

RE: 10 days then nothing...Resistance? - K-Train - 12-10-2013

In regards to the OP, I've noticed the same thing. I'd use a subliminal, get great results, then nada. What has helped me is consistent headphone usage (at least 1 hour a day). I have no idea why but this helps tremendously.

I actually had this occur to me last week. I've now been using Overcome Procrastination off and on for about 3 months. Last week though my motivation was zilch. 1 hour of headphone usage and BAM, I was normal again. It seems that when I slack on headphone usage the effects plummet.

Another thing to consider Alta is your overall usage time. I noticed that with all the subs you listed none were used for at least 60-90 days. I've found that around 60 days is when the effects start becoming more obvious and around 90 days they become more pronounced.

Good point K-Train - I was darting around too much due to too much choice.

Something told me to give LTU 3.0 a go, I'm 16 days in so far and I've got some great news: I'm still seeing positive results. So it looks like I'm past that initial period where the resistance typically kicked in. The areas I'm seeing changes in the most are OGSF, self-acceptance, doing the right thing and socialising being easier (not that it was difficult before, but it seems more effortless now somehow).

Another thing I've noticed is that I'm not getting hardly any tiredness with this sub. I tended to get very tired listening to the previous subs and this made me wonder: was the tiredness due to, and an indicator of, resistance? As in, my mind was doing battle with the programming from the sub and causing fatigue? Just a thought.

Anyhow, I'm sticking with this sub for the full 6 months and if I miss a night then I'm adding it on to the end. Feels like I'm getting somewhere at last Smile

Happy New Year!

It certainly should.

It's possible to resist any subliminal, as far as I know. What happens if you resist out of fear, the removal of fear, is typically either stagnation or reversal, depending on the amount of fear present and the personality type. Reversal is extremely rare. I have only seen one or two cases of that ever. Stagnation is much more common, but still unusual in most cases.

Headphones force your brain to process the program as intended, and instantly magnify the impact of the program. That's why I designed them that way.

Unless otherwise specified in the instructions, 32 days is the recommended MINIMUM amount of time you should use a subliminal single stage program. 90 days plus is recommended for maximum impact.

RE: 10 days then nothing...Resistance? - Alta - 03-20-2014

I've passed the 3 month mark with LTU 3.0 now. The biggest effect I've noticed is that guilt and shame are just about completely gone, which is great. As for the fear part, I find this hard to quantify.

I've had the occasional day of feeling very good with unusually high self-esteem, but not quite the results others have reported, which leads me to think I'm back to resisting the sub again. I've been keeping progress at the end of each month and I've not noticed any further improvement after month 3 than what I had at the end of month 2.

Shannon, I'd be interested to know if you think this means I've reached the maximum effects that the sub will have on me?

I'm feeling like I want to stop with this sub now. Like I need a break. I might stop for a few days and see if the resistance goes and some further effects kick in.

Overall it's been a worthwhile experience, and I have seen improvement in other areas, just not as much as others have reported. No doubt, If I could turn the effects on/off like a light switch I think it would be much more noticeable, it's just that the effects have been subtle and over a long period of time.
