I used to have one of those on my back. Went to the doc, asked how to get rid of it. She takes an alcohol swab, pulled out a clean razor and bam. Bloody glorious. No more skin tag.

I usually do the same to myself, but I would like it if they never appear again.

Hmm, never re-appeared for me. She cut it at the base though. Bled for hours. You sure yours is a skin tag and is really benign? Has the doc taken a look?

I'm sure they are real skin tags. I mean the ones I cut away don't come back, but others appear.

Ah, skin tag prevention, I see. Sounds like an interesting experimental to me.

what's a skin tag? is that a mole of something. Lol i tried cutting one off once... really bad idea... it was extremely painful and wouldnt stop bleeding... had to set fire to myself to seal the wound... (joking on the last bit) :-)

Skin tags are a sort of outgrowth of skin that looks a little bit like a tag on a shirt for sale, I guess that's where they got the name. It's usually a small flappy piece of skin about the size of three or four pin heads.
