I have quite severe problems with numerical reasoning as well as short term memory and fluid intelligence. This has hindered my life quite substantially and I think alot of concentration problems tend to stem from problems with this, in particular with week short term memory which prevents you on working short term with a number of bits of information.
I think something that focusses on strengthening the brain in areas related to this, as well as programming you to seek the challenge as it were, to develop this area through exercise would be very useful.
