It means there's a variable off somewhere. But I have the confidence self check built in to act as a fail safe and prevent me from using and relying on inaccurate answers.

Since it is happening so consistently lately that the confidence ratings are below acceptable, and the confidence ratings that result are very random, I know it's not me entering a variable value incorrectly. I also do not find any error in the code, which has not changed in over three years, and which worked fine until this cycle started. So far I have no explanation for why this is happening, except "the cycle", but that does not help me adjust for or fix anything. So since I am out of other options for making it work, my options left are...

wait for a day when the confidence ratings are acceptably high.

I hear what you're saying about power/resistance.

That said, have you considered the metaphor - a flower that grows too fast doesn't last very long?

Kazan has always been an effective way for any type of long lasting shift... like the man who wins the lottery but does not have the identity of being wealthy (or in fact has the opposite) who loses it all.

Although I'm only 1/3rd of the way through S1 AM6, I am somewhat torn between DMSI and SM. They both sound very enticing and aligned with my personal goals.

Would you say that if one was willing to cross the Rubicon, then DMSI > SM ?

I think you're potentially misunderstanding the issue. It's not about making a long lasting shift, it's about providing an effective means of moving past, through, over, under or around the resistance that is being generated by the instruction set and the level of power behind it. Once that is accomplished, making a long lasting shift is not a problem. I just got cut off in the middle if my work and I can't do much about it right now.

Stay with AM6 until you are finished. Then do DMSI. Switching in the middle is doubly bad.

Hahaha ok, makes sense you meant delayed. Because I seen it and I was so confused I didn't even respond to it earlier.

It did give me a good laugh though.

Yeah I meant delayed, my french is coming out Lipssealed
A lot of words exist in both, most of the time it works Smoke my brain is working hard on MLS I guess.

The word itself seem to come from french though, but it's not used the same way:

Quote:re·tard
verb
past tense: retarded; past participle: retarded
riˈtärd/Submit
delay or hold back in terms of progress, development, or accomplishment.
"his progress was retarded by his limp"
synonyms: delay, slow down, slow up, hold back, hold up, set back, postpone, put back, detain, decelerate; More
antonyms: accelerate
Origin

late 15th century: from French retarder, from Latin retardare, from re- ‘back’ + tardus ‘slow.’

The totally convinced and the totally stupid have too much in common for the resemblance to be accidental.
Only the madman is absolutely sure. Robert Anton Wilson

Hey Shannon,

I have a question for you. You said this is another thread "MLS is the only program I have ever hated building... "

What is it about MLS that made you hate building it so much? I know the intention a creator puts into his work is an important part of the process hence my question.

I also put up a forum thread regarding a sub with the design goal being "social skills". From the feedback I've received on that thread, it seems clear that there is a demand for such a sub. I'm wondering if you've considered building it at some stage?

Thanks

RE: Shannon's Journal Discussion Volume 2
I am planning to start AM 6, and I think this program also uses altered state shifting technology. Correct me if I am wrong! Now, I am a student, I feel tired as I have to study a lot. I drink 3 cups of coffee per day. Coffee contains caffiene, which also interfares the awareness/ state shifting thing as far as I know. Now my question is will it affect my results of AM 6 usage? It is stated in FAQ section of main website, that not to use any drugs, caffiene, etc. while using subs which have state shifting technology. I am still confused! Is that mean, for example, not to drink coffee at the same time I am listening to one of those subs? Or, Will my coffee habit affect the whole results no matter when I drink it? Should I stop drinking coffee altogether for maximum result? Please, clear that to me!

I hated building it because building it was always accompanied by a theme of frustration and delay. It should have taken me 2-4 weeks to build, and it took me months. On top of that, I built it because I had the previous version not working, which pissed me off. I felt like it should have already been dealt with, and rebuilding it was taking time away from other things I could and should have been doing.

The time it took to build was because I forced myself to work on it when some part of me REALLY didn't want to, but also because of the fact that I had to go so slowly to make sure it was done right. The longer it took, the more frustrated I became with spending that much time on it. But I couldn't stop, and I couldn't go faster, because then I wouldn't know it was done right.

I have no looked at the thread you speak of just yet.

In-The-Moment State Shifting and Triggered State Shifting is a 5.5G phenomenon. To the best of my recollection, there is no intentional state shifting in AM6 beyond what happens as a result of executing the goals of the script.

Therefore, you should be fine with coffee on AM6.

Caffeine is known to interfere with the state shifting in programs that have it, as are cigarettes and alcohol, as well as prescription drugs and recreational drugs. Obviously, you should favor any prescribed medication over the program, but aside from that to get the best results from the state shifting in the program, you'll need to avoid drugs including caffeine.

Wow, some challenge!

Quick question Shannon.

I'm really, truly enjoy AM at the moment. I'm only just over 1/3rd of the way through stage 1.. that said, it's already had enough of a real-world impact on me that I'm a believer. I'm very much looking forward to completing the AM 6 course... and I'll be finished by March 2018.

This said, as per your last comment, I invested in DMSI 3.1. The question I have is, how much of the programming from AM 6 will stick when faced with a 5.5g program. I like the idea of the ego balancing that AM is producing and I believe this will become even more significant by the time I finish... from reading other journals there seems to be somewhat of a regression on this point with DMSI.. users feeling irritable/IDGAF attitude/I'm the s*** attitude.

What are your thoughts on long term implications of AM 6 when you start this new generation of programming with DMSI?

Thanks.
